Our coaches are committed to creating a fun, positive, and inclusive environment where every player feels supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
Through fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and Bucs pride, we help young athletes build confidence and develop into great leaders on and off the field.
As part of a true K–12 legacy program, our coaching philosophy is rooted in building meaningful relationships, strengthening our Buccaneers community, and fostering a lifelong love of the game.

Jonathan Wishon, Mens' Varsity Head Coach
Coach Wishon has a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education from Kennesaw State University and a Masters in Health Science from the University of Alabama.
Coach Wishon has been teaching for nineteen years and coaching lacrosse and football for eighteen years. In high school, he played football.
Coach Wishon has been named the MDJ Lacrosse Coach of the Year four times (2015, 2016, 2021, and 2023), and in 2016, he was named the U.S. Lacrosse Coach of the Year for the Georgia Chapter. He has helped lead the lacrosse team to three state championships (2016, 2023, and 2025) winning one of them (2016).
He is married to Sarah Wishon, and they have one daughter, Evelyn, age thirteen, and one son, Mosley, age eight.

Griffin Kim, 13U/15U Boys Head Coach
Griffin Kim is a 2017 graduate of Allatoona High School and brings nine years of competitive lacrosse experience, including four years with the Allatoona High School program, where he was part of the 2016 State Championship team.
With five years of coaching experience, Griffin has continued to share his passion for the game while helping develop the next generation of lacrosse players. He spent two seasons as the Head Coach of Allatoona’s 7th/8th grade boys team, leading the program to a Middle School State Championship in 2022.
He currently serves as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator at Whitefield Academy during the spring season.
Griffin’s coaching approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, defensive discipline, teamwork, and helping young athletes build their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

Keith Brewer, 13U/15U Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Keith is a U.S. Army Veteran and youth lacrosse coach with over 4 years of experience mentoring young athletes. He specializes in defensive positioning, fast-break transitions, and individual skill development.
He is dedicated to helping every athlete master the fundamentals and develop a deep love for lacrosse.

Chazz Levi, 13U/15U Boys Assistant Coach
As an assistant for the Jr. Bucs 9-11U teams over the years, Coach Chazz has focused on assisting the head coaches and program with building player skills and connecting with the players to build them on and off the field.
Coach Chazz firmly believes that proper preparation prevents poor performance and with Lacrosse that all starts in practice.
His main passion is to help our young Bucs succeed both on the lacrosse field and in everyday life.
Off the field, Coach Chazz has been working in logistics for the last 14 years, is married with a son in the 6th grade, Cael, who plays for the Jr Bucs and a daughter Cali that's in the first grade.

Damian Hinton, 11U Boys Head Coach
Coach Damian is excited for the opportunity to give back to the Allatoona Lacrosse program. He played lacrosse for 10 years, finishing his playing career at Allatoona High School.
During high school, he also had the opportunity to help coach the Allatoona 8th-grade teams, giving him an early appreciation for the positive impact coaches can have on young athletes.
Outside of lacrosse, Coach Hinton runs a local car detailing business and is a proud father of three young children. He is excited to be back with the Allatoona Lacrosse program, working with the next generation of players and helping create a positive and rewarding experience for them both on and off the field.

Matt Hoven, 11U Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Matt is a proud Allatoona alumni who grew up competing in wrestling and lacrosse.
During his time at Allatoona High School, he played 3 years of varsity lacrosse and was a member of the Buccaneers’ 2016 State Championship team.
He currently works as a lineman for Cobb EMC and recently married his high school sweetheart, Brooke.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and is excited to return to Allatoona as an assistant coach and give back to the Buccaneer lacrosse program.

Anthony Crisp, 11U Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Anthony is excited to join the Allatoona Jr. Bucs as an assistant coach for the 11U boys’ team. A lifelong athlete with experience in football, baseball, and wrestling, he brings a strong appreciation for teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Inspired by his son, the team’s goalie, Anthony has developed a love for lacrosse and is excited to help young players build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game.
Off the field, Anthony is a proud husband and father of two. He is also a passionate advocate for Type 1 diabetes awareness in youth athletics, inspired by his son’s experience managing T1D while continuing to compete in sports.
Coach Anthony is committed to creating a positive environment where every player has the opportunity to grow, compete, and thrive.

Jon Gillis, 11U Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Jon is excited to be entering his second season as an Assistant Coach with Allatoona Youth Lacrosse.
He got involved with coaching when his son, Oliver, started playing lacrosse and quickly found a passion for helping young athletes learn, grow, and have fun with the game.
One of Jon’s favorite parts of coaching is watching players develop new skills, gain confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork.
Outside of lacrosse, Jon works as a physical therapist serving the local community. He and his wife, Rachel, have two children, Oliver and Carrie, who attend Pickett’s Mill Elementary School.
Jon is grateful for the opportunity to coach and looks forward to helping young athletes grow both as lacrosse players and as teammates.

Matt Tully, 11U Boys Assistant Coach/ Boys Coordinator
Coach Matt is entering his third season coaching youth lacrosse with Allatoona after relocating south from New York, where he previously coached at a private high school.
He has thoroughly enjoyed watching this group of young players increase their skills and confidence each and every year.
Matt emphasizes hard work, strong effort, and a positive attitude, hoping his players grow to love the sport and return to play together each season.
When he is not on the lacrosse field, Coach Matt enjoys boating and spending time out on the water. He also serves as our Youth Boys Coordinator.

Jeremy Gaines, 9U Boys Head Coach
Coach Jeremy began coaching in the fall of 2025 when his youngest son, Tucker, started playing lacrosse in first grade.
He has been part of the Allatoona Lacrosse program for about 10 years through his oldest son, Zach, who is now a senior goalie for the Allatoona High School boys’ lacrosse team. Zach began playing in second grade and, aside from the COVID-19 pandemic, has played every season since.
Coach Gaines truly enjoys watching the boys grow both as players and as young men through the sport. Coaching the 7U team has been an incredibly rewarding experience for him, and he looks forward to getting back on the field with the 9U boys this fall.

Matt Sims, 9U Boys Assistant Coach
Coach Matt Sims is entering his third season with the Junior Bucs. A professional sports broadcast producer, director, and engineer, Matt has worked with the Atlanta Braves, Hawks, Falcons, and Georgia Swarm.
Off the field, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Brittany, their children—Maddie, Barrett, and Luke—and their dog, Elvis.
He is proud to share his passion for sports while helping young athletes grow in confidence, teamwork, and love for the game.

Dries Devos, 7U Boys Head Coach
Coach Dries is a first-year lacrosse coach who got hooked on the game after watching his oldest son play. Now that his kindergartner is picking up a stick, he figured it was time to get off the sidelines too!
While his coaching experience is in basketball, he’s excited to learn right alongside our youngest players. His goal is simple: help them learn their first lacrosse skills, build confidence, have a ton of fun, and hopefully love the game as much as he’s come to.
At this age, if they leave the field smiling and excited to come back, Coach Dries will call that a win!

Griffin Kim, 13U/15U Boys Head Coach

With 20 years of experience teaching math and coaching high school sports, Coach Fleming brings a passion for teaching, leadership, and player development to the Allatoona High School Women's Lacrosse program.
He has been an active member of the Allatoona Lacrosse community for the past five years, and head coach the past four, with his youngest daughter playing in the youth feeder program.
Coach Fleming is excited to continue building a positive, competitive, and supportive lacrosse community for players at every level.

Abby Bagley, 7-8th Girls' Coach
Coach Abby is a proud Allatoona High School graduate, where her love for lacrosse first began. She has been involved with the Allatoona Youth Lacrosse program since 2017 and became a head coach last year. Abby believes youth sports are about much more than learning the game—they provide opportunities to build confidence, foster teamwork, and develop lifelong skills that extend far beyond the field.
Outside of lacrosse, Abby teaches fifth grade at Dowell Elementary. When she is not in the classroom or on the field, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, and hanging out with her dogs.

Larry Haag, 7-8th Girls' Coach
For the past 13 years, Coach Larry Haag has proudly served the Allatoona Girls Jr. Bucs Lacrosse program. Fall 2026 marks his 23rd season coaching girls’ youth lacrosse, making him one of the program’s longest-serving volunteers.
Larry has coached all three of his daughters at every youth level, from 8U through 15U. His two older daughters went on to play all four years with the Allatoona High School Women’s Lacrosse Team, while his youngest begins eighth grade this year as a member of the 15U team. He has also served as the public address announcer for the Allatoona High School Women’s Lacrosse Team for the past 9 years.
Lacrosse is a family passion, and Allatoona has played a special role in that journey. Larry believes strong fundamentals are the foundation of success. His goal is to prepare each player for the next level while helping her develop confidence and a lasting love for the game.
Coaching motto: Great defense leads to offense!

Randy Qualls, 5-6th Girls' Coach
Randy is entering his 15th year coaching lacrosse, with 10 of those years on the girls’ side. He runs a travel lacrosse club as well as a web design and web marketing business. He loves coaching because it gives him the opportunity to help young people get excited about working hard to achieve their goals and to help them unlock the strength and confidence they already have within themselves.
His coaching philosophy is to demand excellence in effort and work, push players toward greatness, and hold them accountable to team standards. Most importantly, he wants every player to know they are awesome regardless of their lacrosse skill—and to have a lot of stinking fun along the way!

Brock Daniel, 5-6th Girls' Coach
Coach Brock began coaching girls youth lacrosse in 2022 during his youngest daughter’s third season playing the sport.
What started as an opportunity to support her team quickly grew into a passion for developing young athletes and helping grow the game.
Coach Brock believes success starts with strong fundamentals, teamwork, accountability, and having fun while competing. He is committed to creating a positive environment where every player can build confidence, develop their skills, and foster a lifelong love of lacrosse.
Off the field, he is a Public Servant where he has served for over 20 years. He is also a proud husband and father of two daughters in the Allatoona district.

Daniel Farley, 5-6th/7-8th Girls' Coach
Coach Daniel has over 15 years of experience coaching youth sports and has coached girls lacrosse for the past four years at both the recreational and club levels.
When he's not on the sidelines, he's cheering on his two daughters, who also play for Allatoona.
He enjoys helping players build confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun while growing their love for the game.

Derek Stovall, 3-4th Girls' Coach
Since 2022, Coach Derek has dedicated himself to developing young athletes in both boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, leading teams through a combined 12 seasons of growth, competition, and teamwork.
Known for his positive energy and ability to connect with players of all skill levels, he focuses on building strong fundamentals, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
When the lacrosse season winds down, Coach Derek enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, exploring new places, and making memories that inspire his coaching both on and off the field.

Seth Patriacca, 3-4th Girls' Coach
Coach Seth is entering his third full year coaching youth lacrosse.
As the father of two daughters who play lacrosse, he enjoys helping young athletes develop their skills and love for the game.

Kelly Brawand, K-2nd Girls' Coach
Coach Kelly is excited to return as a coach this season. A former lacrosse player at Lassiter High School, she is passionate about sharing her love of the game—especially while coaching her daughter, Maggie, and her teammates.
Kelly’s goal is to help every player have fun, build confidence, and develop strong lacrosse fundamentals.

Coach Kendall is entering her second year coaching the K-2 girls team. Raising two daughters who play lacrosse has deepened Kendall’s appreciation for the game and her desire to help young athletes develop their skills and confidence.

Coach Kendall is entering her second year coaching the K-2 girls team. Raising two daughters who play lacrosse has deepened Kendall’s appreciation for the game and her desire to help young athletes develop their skills and confidence.
